Junior Egrets Club Visit

The Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club Junior Egrets members visited Bryerswood Youth Camp on May 15.

After planting their Swamp Milkweed plants, the club members received their backpacks which contained their nets for catching bugs and a bug viewer for examining their catches. All bugs were then set free after they were viewed. A hike to explore the pond area finished off their visit.

We are looking forward to their next visit on June 25 when the theme for the day is Turtles and Snakes.
