DESCRIPTION:Amherstburg’s 5km Run/Walk/Wheel! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCome on out to beautiful historic Amherstburg. Participate in our Canada Day 5km Run/Walk/Wheel and Kids dash. Join our community as we kick off an entire day filled with fun in our timeless town. \n\n\n\nWhen: July 1\, 2025 9:00amWhere: 100 Laird Ave (in front of Fort Malden) \n\n\n\nTo Register: https://raceroster.com/events/2025/99590/amherstburg-canada-day-runwalkwheel-2025 \n\n\n\nALL Registrants will receive a medal and adults will receive a shirt guaranteed if you register by May 1. \n\n\n\nLast year this race had over 900 participants. Arguably one of the most exciting\, spirited races in Windsor-Essex County. The course takes your through Amherstburg’s historic downtown core\, get cooled off by our local firefighters\, hundreds of fans cheering\, and every dollar raised goes back to LOCAL charities. Last year we were able to donate $24\,100 back to our community all by having fun! \n\n\n\nHelp support Bryerswood Youth Camp\, one of the beneficiaries of the run\, by participating in this great event.

DESCRIPTION:🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Bryerswood Youth Camp Optimist Club‘s fundraising event. It’s an event like no other\, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Join us for a great evening at GL Heritage and enjoy the fabulous music of Don McArthur and Nancy Roy!  \n\n\n\nDinner tickets include your choice of meal from the menu and a drink. Dinner tickets can be purchased at https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/mid-summer-dinner–2025 \n\n\n\nGrab your dinner from the food truck any time between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. \n\n\n\nThe food will be supplied by 3 Dog Poutinerie and beverages are available from GL Heritage. A Silent Auction will be available to bid on. Every dinner and auction item sold for this evening will help us “Make Bryerswood Even Better“.  The proceeds will be used to make upgrades and renovations to the Activity Centre. \n\n\n\nTo turn this building into a comfortable venue that can be used year-round\, we need to start by adding a proper ceiling\, lighting and insulation.
